Africa in Motion is Scotland’s top annual African cinema celebration, founded in 2006.

It has engaged nearly 45,000 viewers with over 600 films.

Currently on hiatus, we are reassessing governance, funding, and programming to enhance our support for African cinema and filmmakers of african descent, living & working in Scotland.
